So here I am again, this game was just too fun and I had to play the next installment immediately. I'm going to try putting in pictures now, since I figured out how to do that... and hopefully nothing goes kerflooy on me because I'm linking them from the sims website instead of photobucket. Nevermind I got unlazy so they're all (hopefully) safely uploaded to my photobucket.

...I just realized I didn't introduce Scarlet properly, and I don't remember any of the other traits of the sims I picked up this episode, either. I'll be sure to fix that next time... though I won't bother with the other people in the town, since Scarlet has Observation powers and knows the traits of many many people. That would get boring.

Anyway... onward!

Ok so last time I posted a picture of Scarlet from the back, on the computer, so this time I'll give you a look at her front.

...and her underwear, apparently. Oops. That wasn't supposed to happen, but the opportunity was there and I took it before I noticed what she was wearing.

I also thought I'd show a picture of her current... ah... living quarters.

Which aren't exactly quarters, but she doesn't seem to mind. I don't know what she's dreaming about there... sailing?

And another, where she's working on her latest masterpiece on the lawn. It turned out to be Brilliant, which is pretty nifty.

Anyway, to continue the story... she finished her next book, which got her points and stuff since it was an Opportunity, and did more stuff. Talked to more people, so on and so forth. I noticed she was hitting it off rather well with one gentleman in particular, so I... used funds I probably technically didn't have to build her a house that was just kind of one big room so they'd have somewhere to live. I'm trying not to cheat, honest! I only used it once at the very start, and I've been trying very hard to let her get money on her own. She needs to write more books... anyway.

So the guy she was doing well with! I think his name is Claude but I can't remember the last name, not that it matters for this since she's the one whose last name will be passed on, but I'll try to remember to write it down next time I play.

This guy! This is before they were even dating but after he'd moved in, I just wanted them to sleep in the same bed for this shot. I was very interested in having him be her husband, so I worked at making them interested in each other.

I didn't have to work very hard. It wasn't long before I was able to suggest they go steady, and then they went to a movie where they apparently had a good time (though it failed to fulfill Claude's wish for a great date, sadly). She also painted his picture, which I have hung up and it looks quite pretty and very much recognizably him. I'll take a picture of that next time I play, too... and hopefully I can get a picture of Scarlet. Or can sims not paint self-portraits? Hopefully one of her kids will be able to paint her eventually...

I admit I may have rushed things a bit.

Buuut they seem happy enough. Hurrah.

I attempted to throw them a wedding party, but I apparently suck at timing and sort of threw it together impulsively. I wish I'd gotten pictures of everything that happened... it was pretty amazing.

Scarlet and Claude had woohoo'd the day before and Scarlet was already preggers so she threw up as soon as the party started. The computer broke because some of Claude's friends were playing on it. I tried to get everyone to eat something but for some reason they all clustered around the plate and yelled at each other without actually doing anything about the food, from what I could tell. I almost forgot about chairs, and plunked a whole bunch down at the last second. I don't know if that's what the people wanted me to do, but I did it anyway. And Scarlet was exhausted almost immediately and laid down in the bed (which is in the middle of the giant room that is their house) and went to sleep. So I had everyone leave.

They seemed to enjoy themselves, for some reason. I don't know. I wish I'd been able to have the wedding (the guests were disappointed about that), but decided they'd do a private ceremony instead because Reasons.

I did take a picture of that. It was... ah... very informal, to say the least.

The next day baby came! Which I did not take any pictures of. It's a girl that I named Clementine, because it is an adorable girl's name and also a type of orange. I decided to go totally random on her traits, which gave me... neurotic and absent-minded. /cry. My poor Clementine... I don't know if I'll let the dice pick next time, with that kind of luck she's going to end up Insane, too. Poor child... is it wrong of me to hope there are going to be other kids from Scarlet and Claude? Well. We'll see how poor Clem turns out.

I'm continuing to have lots of fun with this, and I'll try to take more pictures next time I play. Especially as Clem starts to grow (I didn't bother taking a pic of her baby self, since baby sims just kind of look pink and wiggly. Or blue and wiggly.)
